Not too long ago we had the opportunity to check out the Akasa Scala HD media player. This proved to be a great little player for the money, further enhanced with lots of tweaking possibilities from it's Linux backend. Along with the Scala player, Akasa also suggested I check out their Venom CPU cooler and shipped one along too. The Venom is a high performance, gaming minded, quad-heatpipe CPU cooler. Akasa has a unique S-FLOW fan blade design on the Venom and the box really talks it up to be a high performer. I've got some good competition lined up, so let's see if the Venom can poision the competition!
