Every once and a while we'll see a manufacturer put a unique twist on a common product with hopes of making their offering stand out over the competition. Take your everyday 120mm fan for example - did you know that the exhaust of this fan has some wasted air that blows outside the invisible "column" in front of it? You've probably never thought of that - but the people at Silverstone did. This in mind, they set out to make a fan that had a more stable exhaust column so less air would be wasted from not cooling your vital components. The Air Penetrator, or AP series, is what they came up with. Today I've got the debut model, the AP121, here to test. Will this unique design actually hold true to what they say, or is it just another marketing gimmick to grab your attention? How about we find out!
