Aero slots vented slot covers [$9.99CDN/pkg]

I first saw Silverstone's Aero Slots slot covers on some of their various PC cases I'd reviewed over the last few years - including my own Silverstone KL01 case that I'm still running one of my systems in. The Aero Slots are vented slot covers with large ventilation holes in them - actually 70% of the surface area is taken up by the ventilation holes in the Aero Slots. Compared to the tight mesh slot covers a lot of other manufacturers are selling, the Aero Slots do have an obvious performance advantage in this regard. The Aero Slots help exhaust more heat out the back of your case and are especially handy when you've got an expensive and very HOT video card sitting nearby.

Silverstone has their Aero Slots available in both chrome and black designs, which will easily compliment most computer case frame colours these days. I was a little disappointed to see them only available in 4-packs though - most cases have more than 4 empty slots and would then require a second pack if you want to cover all unused slots.

Installation is quick and easy for the Aero Slots since they're designed to replace an existing part of your computer case. For that reason, all you get in the box is four of the slot covers - no screws or installation hardware is included because that will already be in your case from the previous slot covers.
