About a year ago, I had the opportunity to pickup a Samsung WB1000 digital camera for a great deal - so I did. Before that I only had a large Canon DSLR, which isn't convenient to travel with, and another dated Canon compact digital camera (which really wasn't so compact after all). The WB1000 not only had many more features than my older compact Canon camera did, but it was also a lot more 'pocket friendly' for things like day trips, and adventures around town. After a few vacations last summer, the WB1000 fared well, and left me very pleased with both it's picture and HD video recording capabilities. For times when my DSLR isn't the practical camera choice, my WB1000 still accompanies me.
Just a couple weeks ago the opportunity arose to check out the WB2000 - the successor to the exceptionally popular WB1000. The WB2000 looks to be packing quite a few new features, so let's see what it's all about!
