Features:
The Wing 12PL is a 120mm PWM controlled fan with a gloss black frame and your choice of transparent green or blue blades. The blades are not only UV reactive, but are also illuminated by four white LEDs embedded in the frame. The white LEDs also add a neat looking line affect through the blades of the fan when spinning.

The most unique feature of GELID fans are their Nanoflux bearings (NFB). Up until the last couple of years, the two bearing types that dominated the fan market were ball bearing and sleeve bearing. The advantage of ball bearing was that they lasted longer than sleeve bearing fans, but they were also louder. Sleeve bearings, still popular in many low-end fans, are quiet but tend to leak oil and wear out faster. '08 and '09 started to see a lot of manufacturers playing with new bearing designs, all of which seemed to be an improvement over the older standards. The Nanoflux bearing that GELID has come out with offers a life span over double that of ball-bearing, 100000 hours meantime before failure. The noise levels are also incredibly low, dipping down as low as 10dBA at 600RPM, and going to 26.8dBA at 1800RPM on this particular model.
