Installation:
Installation went fairly quickly. For connecting to a PC you must plug the VGA cable into the monitor and then into your video card and a spare USB port for the touch screen functionality. After that you'll need to plug the adapter into the monitor and a spare wall outlet. One problem I ran into though is that the adapter was UK standard so it would not fit into my outlet in Canada without an adapter. That was a quick fix, I just swapped it out for a spare adapter I had here with the same specifications. For those who want to use this screen in a car there is also a 12 volt car adapter included.

After everything was wired up I booted up my computer. Since I will be using this screen as a second monitor I had to enable that function in my video card drivers. After that, all the software and drivers required to make the touch screen functionality work are all on the included CD. Installation was quick and easy. After I rebooted, as I was prompted to do, you need to go into the touch screen software and calibrate the monitor for everything to work properly. That wasn't hard and just involved touching a few spots on the screen.

Once everything was working I was able to fine tune the Lilliput screen in the built-in settings menu as seen in the picture below.

Testing:
To test this monitor I was sure to try out all it's features. The touch screen was awesome, I was able to put my media player full screen on the display and touch all the buttons which gave it the feel of almost operating a real stereo system! The possible uses for this display are endless. If you're a case modder and are looking for a little something extra to mount in your case's window, a small touch screen display like this is really an attention getter! It can also be used just as a regular secondary monitor on your PC as well. When watching movies on it the quality is superb and they can be watched very easily while doing my regular work on the computer. When using programs I found I had to run the Lilliput at a resolution of 640x480 to be able to read all the text clearly. Any resolution higher than that and I found the text got too small and blurry to read.

Another great use for this screen would be in your car. It's stand can be mounted anywhere and with the included component cables you can hook it up to a small DVD player for some entertainment on the road!
This screen can also be used anywhere with any device that provides a video or video and audio output. There are many uses for this wonderful little LCD monitor with a built in speaker.  How about a portable viewer for digital camcorders or digital cameras. You can now have picture and video viewing capabilities on a larger screen almost anywhere you go.

Personally I had a minor problem with the touch screen however. I found that every few reboots on my computer the touch screen driver would fall out of calibration. I'm sure that this is just a driver conflict or a little glitch on my PC as I have not read of anybody else having this problem.
