Features:
The feature that first stood out when I opened the box was that the Antarctica has two tops which you can chose from. The top that is pre installed on it supports Intel Socket 478, AMD Socket 462 / 754 / 940. The second top supports AMD Socket A, and because it does not have the larger Intel and Athlon 64 mounting holes, it is more compact to fit into tight spaces. The cross-platform compatibility insures that the block will work with any future computer upgrades you may make and will save you the $70 cost of buying a whole new block. The tops are interchangeable by removing four screws with the included hex wrench, then changing the top.
