Features:
The first feature that most will see with the Coolmax CW power supply is the massive 650 watts of power! That's a significant amount more than most power supplies on the market and is sure to run anything you could ever plug into it!

In terms of cables the CW has 2 PCI express power cables which are SLI compatible, 7 molex, 2 floppy, 2 SATA, 1 20/24 pin ATX and one 4 pin

Looking at the overall design of the CW power supply I am impressed to see with such a massive wattage rating Coolmax has still managed to kept it nice and small in size. Infact, compared to some other power supplies that are around the same wattage rating the CW actually looks quite small! Another impressive feature is the 120mm cooling fan with a 3 speed fan control switch. The switch allows the fan to run on low, auto or high speeds. To compare this power supply to most others in the 500-670W range that I have seen I was very impressed to see only one silent 120mm fan to cool it! Most have two or more fans which are VERY loud and almost make buying such a high wattage supply not worth it.

The chassis is fully aluminum and painted a nice black colour. The rear of the power supply has a very large steel mesh punched right into the aluminium. Written down the middle of that mesh is COOLMAX in large silver letters which looks quite attractive with the mesh design, I think it would be cool to see a logo like that down each side of the power supply as well. That way, those with windowed cases wouldn't see just a black side covered in stickers. One of my little annoyances with the exterior of this power supply from Coolmax again is the large number of stickers on the exterior which I feel take away from the overall look. I personally find 10 stickers both small and large too be too much. I'm sure most of this info can be put in the manual like other manufacturers do.

To ensure your peripherals are all safe, the CW has Active PFC (power fault correction), over voltage protection and short circuit protection on all output levels.
