Enlight 7250 Case
Review by: Keats
Provided by: Purchased

Introduction:

Today I will be reviewing the Enlight 7250 standard ATX case. The 7250 is the latest and best case from the Enlight ATX line.
My first impression was it was a great case, and very well built for the price.
The box includes the case itself, one fan, and all the required mounting hardware and drive rails.
One thing I really liked about it was the screwless drive mounts, which I will get to later.

Specs:
The 7250 is a standard ATX case, with 4 5 1/4 drive bays, and 2 exposed 3 1/2 inch drive bays and 3 1/2 internal ones.
Enlight builds their cases for the average home user, hence they do not include any window or window option for the case.
The case is 18.3lbs worth of steel, so it's fairly heavy compared to most aluminum based cases.
Unfortunatly, if your a modder and you like hiding the cables behind the motherboard tray, you won't be doing it easily in this case. There is only about 1cm behind the motherboard tray, not even close enough to be able to hide any PSU cables.

Installation:
It's easy to install, as it's the same as any other case. One thing I liked was the removable motherboard tray, most cases seem to lack this feature that I have seen. All the 5 1/4 drives are mounted via screwless drive clips which are built into the drive bay itself.

Features:
The Enlight 7250 case is a very strong case, as it is made out of pretty thick steel (0.8mm thick SECC, to be exact). For modders, this may pose a problem cutting a window because these cases were made to last, so it may take you longer to cut it than with a case made of aluminum.
It is also very easy to open up, just remove the front bezel by pulling up from the bottom, take out two screws on the side panel, and the side slides right off.
The case also includes 2 exposed front USB ports.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, I'd like to say for $55CAN, this is one of the best stock cases I've ever seen, it's well built and has some nice features to it such as the screwless drive mounts and the front USB ports. This case has very clean lines to it and it would be nice if Enlight would make a window option for case which would look very nice.

PROS
-strongly built
-easy to take apart
-easy access to the front USB ports

CONS
-Enlight should have a window option
-no room to hide wires behind motherboard tray
-only front USB, no front audio

Rating: 6/10
