Introduction:
As you've probably seen, we've taken a look at many different types of mouse surfaces in the past. Most are fairly expensive gaming surfaces designed to have as little friction between the mouse and the pad as possible to help for faster more precise movements. Today we're taking a look at the QPAD which is a mouse pad manufactured by a company based in Sweden (They now have a USA division) Along with the pad, they have included a couple of extra pro gaming products of theirs that I'll be sure to talk about.
In The Box:
(1) QPAD Mouse Surface
(1) Pack of GLIDZ Mouse Skates
(1) QPAD Wrist Band
(1) QPAD Key strap

Features:
We'll start by looking at the mouse pad itself. Unlike most high performance mouse pads I've seen it is not a solid plastic slab. Instead, the base is all rubber so it doesn't slide at all, with a very smooth surface on top. The surface itself isn't all one bland colour like most other pads, instead it's got a very cool design on top which has a sniper scope right in the center of the pad as the center of attention (see image below)

Along with the pad, one of the other things they included are the QPAD Glidz. These are a form of low friction mouse skates. They get placed on the "feet" of your mouse (the 4 plastic ovals in each corner which make contact with the surface). The Glidz are 2 long strips which you cut to the right size for the feet on your mouse. The strips are quite large in size so you'll definitely get your moneys worth and lots of replacements out of one package of them!

As well as making the QPAD and Glidz, they also manufacture pro gaming apparel which at this time is a wrist band with a big Q on it and a key strap with QPAD PRO GAMING GEAR woven into it. I like the way they have the design woven on the key strap, most key strap manufacturers simply paint the design on, and that wears off quite fast if the keys are used a lot. This key strap will be very durable having been woven! Manufacturing extra apparel like that really shows QPAD's dedication to the gaming scene. They not only want you to have a great pad to use, but also want you to go out in style and be able to show off that you're a pro gamer while your away from the PC as well!

Installation:
The Glidz are the only thing that really require any installation. All you need to do is cut pieces off the strip which are the rough size of your mouse feet, remove the backing and stick them on (one per foot)
Testing:
To test the QPAD I put the mouse through regular use as well as doing some gaming.
It proved to be an excellent mouse pad in the end, it has a very smooth surface which is just right for doing all styles of gaming. To really enhance the experience, adding the Glidz to the mouse took away a little more friction and allowed the mouse to move very freely yet still being precise at the same time.

Conclusion:
In the end I was extremely pleased with the gear from QPAD. The pad itself paired up with the Glidz has proven to be a must have for any pro gamers. If you've got the extra change, getting the stylish key strap and wrist band is also well worth it and will show others the true pro gamer you are!
Pros:
Low friction surface
Stylish design
Glidz Really Improve the experience and produce less friction between the mouse and the pad
Key strap and Wrist Band both have a stylish design and will show the world the pro gamer you are!
Cons:
Absolutely none!
Rating: 10/10
