Features:
One of the key features, which is possibly the coolest thing done to speakers since the introduction of surround, is the Techno Lighting effect. Each satellite and the subwoofer has several LED's hidden around the face and when the sound is loud enough the LED's flash along with the song. With the lights turned off and some Yeah! by Usher playing, my room looked like a full featured club. However I found at lower volumes the lighting effect was either very dull or not even visible at all, but who plays their music quiet anyways?
Another neat feature is the included Wireless Remote Control with an LCD Display. The controller can turn the speakers on, mute, enhance, control subwoofer volume and front and rear volumes, center volume and master volume. The LCD display shows how loud each setting is, which option is currently selected on the controller and if the enhance function is currently enabled.
If the 607XL's are plugged into a source which only supports 2 channel output there is an enhance function,
which if enabled, will simulate 5.1 surround. I gave the enhance function a try and it sounds almost identical to the proper 5.1 surround.
