Features:
This joystick has many features. It is mostly black plastic with some chromed metal parts on it. The 5 thumb buttons are easy to reach and press, and the hat control is in the middle of the buttons, making for easy access. In case your wondering, in games that support it the hat control controls the point of view, ie in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 you use it to look around the cockpit. The 4 base buttons are easily accessed, but they're smooth so unless you are looking at them you may not be sure what you're pressing. If you're playing in the dark the base buttons glow a nice red so you don't need to strain to see the buttons. The shift buttons work like the ones on a keyboard or calculator, basically making the 4 base buttons equal 8 buttons. The hand rest at the bottom of the shaft can be removed or readjusted to any position or size, or even switched to the other side for lefties. Up above the hat switch there is a little blue thing that says Evo, which doesn't serve any purpose other than to look cool. The throttle control moves extremely smoothly, with a little resistance so you don't move too fast. Even the trigger can be adjusted for position and angle.

Testing:
For testing I played a couple hours of Microsoft Flight Simulator and Battlefield 1942. For flight simulator, all the buttons worked [what a suprise]. The stick itself moves very fluently without any resistance, so it's perfect for just leisurely flying or doing various stunts. The hand rest is very comfortable, being as it is rubber coated. After 3 hours of solid piloting, the joystick never went out of calibration. The yaw control twist works well too, with fluid motion balanced with resistance so that the twist snaps back to a centered position. For Battlefield 1942 I yielded the same results.
