Introduction:
It's easy to remember when about a year ago a 16ms LCD monitor was like gold. That was about the lowest refresh rate one could get and everyone was going for them. At that time the excuse most gamers were using for not using LCD's for gaming was partly true, depending on the type of game you played of course. LCD's have come a long way! About 6 or more months ago the 12ms response time came in and brought with it the ability to play pretty much any game on the market without any real visible ghosting. Then came 8ms which just refined that even more, and now Samsung has just introduced their brand new 930BF LCD sporting an impressive 4ms response time! You heard me correctly - 4ms!
