Once the hardware is installed in this case you will then want to install the included MultiMedian software which includes all the drivers to make the VFD and remote control work. For those who wish to get the latest software you can go to www.soundgraph.com (the manufacturer of the VFD panel, remote and MultiMedian software). In their downloads section they have a software/driver update labeled "For Silverstone Case Users"

Testing:
In the testing section of this review I am going to be mainly looking at the included MultiMedian software as well as the remote and VFD.

But first, a little talk on the overall case. As you know I usually like to look at the build quality of cases in my reviews. This case follows the same build quality tradition that I have seen in past Silverstone cases that I have had experience with. This case is flawless! The build quality of Silverstone cases is absolutely superb. Everything is very strong, the paint is perfect and there isn't a rough edge to be found! The styling is wonderful.

I will now talk about the included remote which came with the LC14M. To best describe it, and all it's features, I will point you to the image below which is found on the SoundGraph website.

The included MultiMedian software is the complete package and is an excellent program to be the base of your HTPC. To launch this software you simply press the big blue button on the remote right below the pad. You'll then get a brief moment of music while a loading dialogue flashes on your screen. Once loading is complete the program then runs full screen. On the navigation bar at the top you'll see a hard drive button which allows you to go though movies/music/photos and other media stored on your hard drive in monitored folders. Beside the hard drive button there is a CD/DVD button which will play the media inserted in the drive you chose as the primary drive in the program settings. The TV button will allow you to view and control the cable from any TV card in your PC. There is also a video camera button and internet radio button which will take you to a large catalogue of online music. To the right of those buttons, after the divider, there is a program settings button and an exit button.

Overall the MultiMedian software is VERY easy to use and understand and can be 100% controlled by the remote. After installing Windows onto your PC you can essentially use this case in your home theatre setting and there would be no real need to have access to your keyboard or mouse. Outside of MultiMedian the remote control still continues to offer full control over your PC and mouse! The interface is very attractive and animated so navigating around it is quite easy.
When in the windows environment the buttons on the remote are completely programmable and can be assigned to launch programs, execute marcos, control parts of windows, etc.
