Introduction:
In the past, we've reviewed both the EZ Power Supply Tester I and EZ Power Supply Tester II from Casebuy. Both were excellent products, a must-have for computer technicians who build and work with computers regularly. However, both weren't without their flaws, neither model would report the actual voltage on the line. They would simply check for a load on the required rail, not check that the load was correct. Today, we're looking at the LCD EZ Power Supply Tester III from Casebuy. This new tester fixes the flaws of the old ones, with an LCD screen you'll get an exact readout of all the voltage lines on your power supply.

Specs:
Case Material: Aluminium
Thickness: 1.0mm
Dimensions: 126x63.7x17.5mm

Features:
The biggest new feature on the EZ Power Supply Tester III is the LCD screen seen on the front. This reports the +5V, +12V1, +3.3V, -12V, +12V2, 5VSB and PG. If the voltage is within a safe range, then it will be displayed. However, if the voltage on a certain line exceeds the maximum value, HH will be shown to indicate it is too high and an alarm will ring. If the voltage is lower than a safe value or nonexistent, an LL will be displayed and an alarm will ring. When the alarm rings, the relative value will also blink on the screen for easy identification of the problem.

The safe voltage range for each voltage is as follows:
+/-5% for the +5V, +5VSB and +3.3V
+/-10% for the +12V1, +12V2 and -12V
P.G. Min value is 0ms and Max value is 990ms
In terms of connections, the EZ Power Supply Tester 3 can test anything found on a standard PSU. These include, 4 pin molex, floppy drive, 4, 6 and 8 pin connectors, SATA and 20/24 pin ATX.
The exterior shell of the tester is all aluminium, so for those who will be using this a lot or for techs who may want to throw it in a toolbox, it can take a solid beating.

Testing:
I tested the EZ Power Supply Tester III by testing both a perfect power supply, and one I knew was damaged. I was happy to see it's performance was flawless on both. It noted all the voltages correct on the good power supply, and for the dead one, it correctly identified the dead rail and the alarm rang to notify me. See te picture below, and note the LL on the +12V2 line which was too low.

Conclusion:
In the end, I was very happy to see that Casebuy took an awesome product and made it even better. Having an LCD Power Supply Tester is now a must-have item for any computer enthusiast and should be nothing less than a standard item for every computer technician to have.
Pros:
Tests all common PSU connectors
LCD Screen shows voltages
Warning alarm and screen notification
Backlit screen makes working in dull lighting possible
Aluminium shell, it can take a beating and heavy usage
Cons:
None!
Rating: 10/10
