Vantec go2.0 USB Hub
Review by: Steve

Price: $25 Canadian

Introduction:
With USB being the standard connection of almost all PC peripherals these days, one can find themselves easily running out of ports very quickly as they add more devices to their computer. The only solution when this happens is to use a USB hub to add more ports externally. There are tons of these on the market, some expensive, some cheap, some big and some small. For those looking for a compact, cheap and ultra-stylish USB 2.0 hub, look no further than Vantec's latest go2.0 USB 2.0 hi-speed hub.

Features:
The go2.0 USB 2.0 hub is the latest USB hub offering from Vantec. It offers four USB 2.0 ports in a very tiny and compact design. I must say that externally, this is probably the most stylish and smallest USB hub I have ever seen. Vantec never ceases to amaze me with making their products look great. The front and back of the hub are a mirror chrome finish and the strip which wraps around the middle is a nice dark blue. However, if blue isn't your colour then it is also available in black.

Being USB, it's Plug N' Play and hot swappable, meaning there is absolutely no installation required to make it work and plugging devices in can be done at anytime with the PC turned on or off. It offers the full USB 2.0 transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps, meaning your devices will not loose any speed by being plugged into the hub as opposed to directly into the computer.
