Installation:
Installation of the USB hub is incredibly easy, it's basically as plug 'n play as it gets. If you're using USB devices which have a power rating of less than 500mA, then you just plug the USB cable that's included into the back of the hub and into an available USB port on your computer. If you have USB devices which require more power, than you must use the included adapter to plug into the wall and the hub. I must point out how much I liked the thin adapter design. This thin adapter will only take up one socket space on a power bar and won't overlap onto others like almost all big bulky adapters do.

Testing:
The only test I could think of to run on the go2.0 hub was to run a speed test on my external hard drive while attached to one of the motherboard's USB ports and another test while attached to the hub.
Testing System:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (Socket 939)
Motherboard: Biostar NF4UL-A9
Memory: 512mb Dual-Channel OCZ Premiere Series
HDD: Western Digital 160gb SATA II (WD1600JS)
Video: XFX GeForce 6600GT PCI Express
Power Supply: Silverstone ST60F 600W
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2
External Hard Drive: Western Digital 160gb IDE in Vizo Luxon USB 2.0 enclosure
The test run was the removable storage/flash benchmark in SiSoftware Sandra.
Results:
Onboard USB: 9791 Operations per Minute
On Hub: 9722 Operations per Minute
Overall, you can see the go2.0 hub hardly had a performance decrease at all on the hard drive it was tested with. This assures that any device you plug into the hub will not lose any performance.
Conclusion:
The Vantec go2.0 USB hub left me very impressed. It offered a small and very affordable way to add four extra USB 2.0 ports to your computer. There was no notable performance decrease of any attached device either, plus, the stylish looks were amazing.
Pros:
Very small size
Great stylish design!
Included adapter if connected peripherals require <500mA of power
Inexpensive
No performance loss over a regular USB port
Cons:
None!
Rating: 10/10
