Testing:
Accessories like this obviously can't be truly "tested", just used and abused. I took my time to look over all the Nexus accessory line products and was very pleased with them all. Everything had a very good quality of manufacturing behind it. I didn't find anything such as sharp edges or defects in any of the products that would sway me away from giving a thumbs up. Only one thing I noticed was that the fans still use a DC Brushless Bearing which has a significantly lower lifespan than the newer Fluid Dynamic Bearings that many silent fan manufacturers are starting to adapt the use of.
Conclusion:
Nexus makes some great quality accessories to help refine your case or add a little extra functionality to certain areas. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend any of these products to someone looking to do just that!
Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming review of the Nexus DampTek silencing foam!
Pros:
All accessories are manufacturered with great quality
Makes a great addition to any user looking to polish off certain aspects of their case
DampTek helps to eliminate some unwanted fan/hard drive whine and make the case quiter/more pleasing to hear
Cons:
The fans use the older DC Bearing (Most other silent fans are using the longer lasting Fluid Dynamic Bearings)
DampTek is expensive ($58 Canadian for the three sheet package)
