Features:
Let me start by saying the KL01 looks even more impressive in person than it does in the online pictures. Although I thought it looked pretty sweet when I saw the initial photos for it, I was even more impressed when I took it out of the box and started looking at it first hand.

The entire exterior of the case is black, with the front bezel being a black brushed aluminum which I find is something common on Silverstone cases and products. The left panel has a nice big window to clearly see inside your case. For those who don't want a window, there is another version of the case available without it. Personally, I prefer having a window on my cases.

The front bezel has a rather large door that opens. This door actually takes up almost the entire front of the case, right up to the clear plastic strip (which lights up blue when powered on). The door is magnetically latched which is nice not only for clean ascetic reasons (no protruding hooks to latch), but it's also silent to open and close (no loud "CLICK" as it hooks shut like some latched doors by other manufacturers). This door also has vents down the entire left and right side of the door so air can be drawn through the door to cool the case even when the door is closed. I've seen cases by other manufacturers where the door must be left open to achieve proper air flow while the machine is running. When I opened the door on this Silverstone case it opens to the right. Wait, are you trying to tell me this case is actually compatible with the majority of right handed computer uses who put their systems to the right of them? No way! I had to open and close the door several times just to make sure this wasn't an illusion. You've probably heard me complain about that many times here in the past; most doors open to the left but most users and even most desk manufacturers have their cases to their right. When you're opening the door towards you all the time that is a huge inconvenience and discomfort to have to reach around the door to access components such as CD/DVD drives. Now, let me put the icing on the cake here, the door is reversible! You can easily remove the hinging mechanism from one side and slide it into the other side! This means you can open the door left or right. If only more manufacturers could do this! Hats off to Silverstone for designing a case that has a reversible door. Now there is NO reason that everyone can't enjoy this case.

Behind the door you're greeted with five 5.25" drive bays (One doubles as a 3.5"). The bay covers, including the fan cover at the bottom, are all a black tight-knit metal mesh. This allows for good airflow through the entire front of the case, but is also kept tight enough that the front of your case isn't see through because of it. The above photograph appears to be see through, but that is caused by the high power of the camera flash, the case does not appear this way normally. All 5.25" bays are "tool-less" on the inside of the case, no screws required to install any devices in them.
