Introduction:
When we first looked at the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3 Studio in-ear earphones we were impressed, to say the least. For slightly over $100 they offered stunning sound, amazing build quality and a nice included package too. We all know that true audiophiles, musicians and sound/recording engineers demand only the best audio listening materials. The Super.fi 3's had one setback, being a single-driver design their frequency reproduction was not comparable to that of the more expensive dual-drive Super.fi 5 Pro's; those which we are reviewing today.
Being a dual-driver unit with built-in crossover, these earphones pack a lot of amazing sounding technology into one incredibly small package! Will the extra money spent on this dual-driver design really be worth it for those demanding only the best? Read on to see what we thought of this product!
