Installation: Testing: Testing System:
As you can see from my real-world tests on this power supply, a system like mine isn't even capable of making it budge when it comes to power consumption. It's voltages remained stable even after my system was under 100% load for over an hour continuously. This being observed, I can say that this would definitely be a good power supply contender for a basic high end system. Those running multiple hard drives, optical drives, and a reasonably powerful video card would likely still be fine as long as you know how much power is being consumed by your components. This is to make sure the overall wattage and the rail amperages of this power supply will suffice for your hardware. The Power Mod also performed well when it came to noise tests. Although it was still a bit louder than the Seasonic S12II that I currently use when placed side by side on the test bench, I found that the noise level was more difficult to differentiate between when the supplies where mounted inside a case with the side panel installed. The high performance and low noise levels from the ADDA fan are likely a huge contributing factor to this and the reason that a lot of manufacturers are using this model of fan.
