One of the major hooks for me with the Matrix case, besides the overall styling, was the design of the back of the case. Face it, if you're in a classy living room or sitting at an office desk talking to someone for business, you probably don't want to be staring at a huge mess of cables sticking out of the back of their computer. To combat this InWin has used a closed-in design to the back of this case by means of designing a classy door that covers all your cables. The door is set out far enough to allow all cables to bend over, without stressing them, and flow down the back of the case to come out a small opening at the bottom. For graphics cards where larger DVI or VGA cables may obstruct this door from working, there is actually a small logo plate that pops out to allow one or several thicker VGA cables to come straight out. It's hard to believe that such a little touch can clean up the flow and tidyness of the case as much as it does! It would be great to see more manufacturers incorporating features like this in their cases because it really helps to clean up the overall looks of a case by hiding the huge mess of wires out the back.

In a small case where small size really matters it doesn't come as a surprise that the internal components are packed pretty tightly. When the side is removed (a trick itself - more later) you will see the included power supply sitting on the bottom of the case with the 3.5" drive bays directly beside it. There is a cooling fan mounted on top of the hard drive rack which is nice touch and also provides a little airflow inside the case.

The included power supply is 300W and uses the SFX form factor to fit into this smaller size of case.
