Testing:
As was just mentioned, the primary fan I will be using in my test is the Scythe S-Flex G. I chose this fan because it has a higher output and will let me see how the BeamAir will alter the airflow pattern after it is installed.

Without a complex smoke setup, my best judgment of where the airflow is going will be suspending the fan and using my hands to see where the airflow ends on all sides of the fan. On the fan without the BeamAir installed the airflow was obviously the highest in the middle and as I got further away from the fan it started to slowly diminish. With the BeamAir installed I was honestly surprised at the increase in airflow that came from the main center portion of the fan (the area encompassed by the diameter of the blades). When I got outside that "directed" airflow area, the airflow seemed to just halt and that excess airflow wasn't off to the sides anymore.

Conclusion:
For a simple product like this that does what it's supposed to do, there really isn't too much to wrap things up with! It's available for all common fan sizes so if this is something you feel you need in your setup then head out and grab one - they're very inexpensive!

Pros:
Does what it's supposed to do!
Available for all common fan sizes (80/92 and 120mm)
Certainly not a bad price

Cons:
Needs a little design work to ensure 100% compatibility with all manufacturer's fans
