Installation:
Installing the base on the 2232GW was a unique process since the post that the base screws onto is not actually installed on the monitor when you get it. You screw the base onto this post first, then after you set that part on the desk you carefully angle the monitor about 10 degrees and push and wiggle it onto the base (see images below). Although this makes wall mounting quick and easy, I found it a bit of a pain trying to actually get the monitor stuck on there in the first place. Plus, this method doesn't leave a whole lot of tilt adjustment either. For those needing to take the bass off the monitor in the future, I had a bit of a fight at the end when it was time to pull it off to pack up again.

After that, drivers were the only thing left to install - nothing tricky there.

Testing:
After the 2232GW was setup and installed on my system I gave it the usual tests, that is several days of constant usage (approx. 4-5 hours per day). During this time it got it's rounds in everything; gaming, internet browsing, digital media, audio production and the likes.

In a head-to-head comparison with my current 931BW, I noticed the colours to be much more vibrant on the 2232GW. The whites also seemed a lot purer on the 2232GW when the two were directly compared side by side.

Digital media viewing on a display of this size is very comfortable to watch and you don't have to sit up close like smaller screens force you to do. The glossy finish really does seem to add an extra vibrance to the picture compared to other displays that are the traditional matte finish LCD panel.

Of course when it comes to the internet, document creation or audio production as I do myself, you will never run out of screen space on this monitor. Having the 1680x1050 resolution really seems to open up a whole new set of doors into productivity and workflow on your screen.
