The box for the Mini NAS isn't anything special, it's just a plain white box with coloured stickers highlighting some basic product info and a photo of the device. But, packing isn't everything right? Addonics does most of their sales online, a world where packing means nothing and store shelves don't exist. I'd rather see more money put into the product itself than wasted on fancy packaging anyways.

After opening the Mini NAS I was pleasantly surprised at the fact it was actually a decent quality enclosure. Looking at the online pictures while waiting for the sample to arrive, it appeared much "cheaper" looking than it actually is. The Mini NAS easily has a home amongst my other networking equipment, and it doesn't stand out as having a significantly lower price than anything else.

The front panel, pictured below, bears a glossy strip with the Mini NAS name on it and two LED's (power and o/s).

Around back you'll see the power connector, power switch, reset button (inset), network indictor LED's, USB port and the network connector itself. The USB port is an interesting feature to note, the Mini NAS actually supports USB printer sharing as well. This is an interesting feature to find on a cheaper priced NAS like this because a lot of standalone print servers can cost around the same price as this entire NAS.
