Glacialtech took a bit of a different direction on the packaging of this power supply compared to what we usually see. Instead of going with an entirely cardboard box that opens up, they went for a cardboard tray with slide-off plastic covering which has the printed information on it. If you flip the box over, you'll see a small diagram showing the reason for this. The plastic sleeve is completely recyclable, and the box can either be used as a tray or recycled itself. If you use it as a tray, it even has small cutouts at either end to easily pull it off a shelf, etc. It's great to see a manufacturer who aims to make not only their power supply eco-friendly, but goes the extra mile to make sure their packaging is too. You can see a picture of the packing below.

Measuring a perfect 16 centimeters long, the body of the AX950AA is entirely black (seems like a common trend with most power supplies these days eh?).

The left side of the power supply has a colourful two-tone specifications sticker. The red on black design of this sticker follows a very racecar-like checkerboard pattern in some parts. I was quick to notice the number of languages that the writing on this sticker was written in - at least four languages are seen, making the text quite small in most areas. Glacialtech has also put the 80PLUS Silver badge on this sticker - with a high rating like that, why not show it off! It's interesting to note that this sticker is actually upside down when the power supply is installed - hopefully this will be corrected in the future for the viewing pleasure of those with windowed cases.

Spinning around to the right side, you will only find a small four-slot vent and the stamped test results sticker. Being as this side faces inside your case, it doesn't really need to be anything fancy.
