Installation:
Installation of the UFO V51 requires
you to remove the system's motherboard from the case, so make sure you set aside a decent amount of time to complete this task. GlacialTech includes a universal back brace for your motherboard as well as labeled bags with the front mounts for all supported CPU types. A small blob of thermal paste and paste spreader are also included. For testing purposes, I will be using Tuniq TX-3 thermal paste as it has become the standard for a lot of our cooler reviews. Make sure you watch out for high RAM coolers or chipset coolers because the UFO cooler does overhang more than just the CPU socket when it is installed.

Conclusion:
The GlacialTech UFO V51 is bound to turn some heads to look inside your case. It's probably the most unique looking CPU cooler that we have reviewed here to date! On top of flashy looks, this cooler still manages to perform up to par with what I'd expect from a CPU cooler in this price range. There's no word yet on North American availability, but GlacialTech states a MSRP of $59.99USD.
Pros:
Unique design is sure to catch some eyes
Quiet operation (despite having two fans)
Silent and PWM versions available
Broad compatibility
Cons:
Size may make installation difficult on some motherboards/cases
