Installation:
Other than the small driver issue I encountered, no other problems arose during installation. In my Windows Vista operating system the webcam, mic and speakers were all automatically installed after plugging the monitor into a USB port. You'll still want to use the included CD to install the USB display drivers as well as the webcam software to give you some more features/control over it.

Testing:
The 2263DX left me with a really good first impression when I first powered it on. One of my favourite monitors from Samsung in the past year was the 2232GW, a monitor I faithfully went out and purchased myself after reviewing it. I always loved how vivid the colours were on this monitor and how the whites seemed to be just perfect. Even after calibrating other monitors, I never seemed to get anything perfectly comparable to the 2232GW. Of course my opinion on good may be different than yours, but that become one of my favourite displays. After unplugging my 2232GW and plugging in the 2263DX I was pleasantly surprised at the colour similarities. Not only was the image really sharp, but colours were vivid and accurate and whites didn't seem yellow in comparison to some displays that pass over my desk. Backlight bleed seemed very minimal on the top and bottom edges - this was something I always noticed to be quite bad on the 2232GW.

The UbiSync7 also left me quite impressed with image quality at the same time. I've used a number of 7" displays in the past, some with phenomenal image quality and others that I wouldn't buy no matter how cheap they were. I can definitely say that the UbiSync7 is just like any other Samsung display - just in mini form! When mirroring the same image on both displays, a colour difference was noticable, but keep in mind that the UbiSync7 display is more of a secondary display so you likely won't ever run much more than some widgets, instant messaging or basic email on it. For that reason, the slight colour difference between the panel in the 2263DX and UbiSync7 should not be a concern. The USB DisplayLink is still a relatively new and emerging technology and I'm going to say that's likely the reason for the occasional flicker on the UbiSync7 display. It never really bothered me unless I happened to be reading something on the display at the time it chose to flicker. This was only occasional, happening maybe every 15 minutes or so (sometimes more, sometimes less. Hard to say what caused this, maybe something with my computer setup?).
