Introduction:
There has always been a sect of computer power users that aim to push the limits as far as they absolutely can. With some of the latest CPU's and GPU's on the market, pushing the limits has literally meant pushing the limit of what some hardware can physically handle. Most notably; the power supply in your computer. When you're running four GPU's in one setup, alongside one or two of the latest processors on the market, you suddenly realize that you need a small power plant to supply the power required to run all of this hardware. It can sometimes be hard to believe that a bunch of microchips can actually use that much raw power. Aiming to power the most outrageous systems out there, Silverstone has literally pushed the boundaries of the traditional computer power supply and come out with the ST1500. This is a 1500 Watt power supply, or, 1.5kW of raw power for your computer. You will likely not find anything more powerful than this in quite a long time, as Silverstone has explained that 1500W is essentially the limit for an internal PC power supply.
