As you can imagine, a 1500W power supply comes with enough cabling to power a small super-computer. All cables are fairly decent lengths - I have listed below the cables provided. Not all cables can be run at the same time, as you'll see in my picture the power supply comes with a full set of cables connected and the extra SATA cables laying beside the PSU must be used in place of another cable set. All modular plugs are labeled fairly clearly with the sticker above (also seen in my picture below).
1 x 24 / 20-Pin Motherboard connector (550mm)
1 x 8 / 4-Pin EPS / ATX 12V connector (750mm)
1 x 8-Pin EPS 12V connector (750mm)
4 x 8/6-Pin PCIE connector (550mm)
4 x 6-Pin PCIE connector (550mm / 150mm)
12 x SATA connector (500mm / 250mm / 250mm)
12 x 4-Pin Peripheral connector (500mm / 250mm / 250mm)
4 x 4-Pin Floppy connector (500mm / 250mm / 250mm / 150mm)

As you can see in the picture above, Silverstone has even opted to make the main ATX power cable modular - something that usually isn't done on modular power supplies. Reason? Modular cables add more resistance to the line (and of course every computer uses this cable, so users will never have a reason to remove it anyways). However, the upside to this is that Silverstone has a shorter cable kit you can buy for their Strider series power supplies (Part Number PP05).

The back of the ST1500 looks fairly standard until you look a little closer. Honeycomb grill - standard, power LED - standard, power plug.. not standard. A 1500W power supply is drawing a lot more current than your mom and dad's little 400W supply in their office Dell computer. To eliminate the risk of melting the wires in a standard power cable, Silverstone has included a thicker 14 gauge power cable which uses flat tabs on the power supply connector so that you must use this cable. One thing that left me very disappointed with this power supply was the absence of a power switch on the back of it. Nearly every other power supply on the market has one of these, so why take it off the one I'm paying $400 for? I wonder if the input current exceeds the capacity of these small switches? Everyone knows the convenience of this switch when tinkering around inside your computer - something most people who use a supply like this will be doing. Just don't forget to pull the plug on this one !

The ST1500 is 80PLUS Silver certified - this guarantees it has a minimum efficiency of 85% at all times. Wasting as little electricity as you can is the name of the game when you're running a power supply this powerful. Since we aren't likely to see wattages much higher than this, it would be great to see Silverstone aim to increase the efficiency to achieve 80PLUS Gold on any future revisions of this model (or any other high-wattage models).

Like any quality power supply, especially one that's nearly $400, the ST1500 has active PFC as well. The +12V rails are plentiful on this supply - there's eight in total, providing up to 110A of power. All voltages are strictly regulated to within +/-3% of what they are rated at.

Cooling is provided by a 135mm thermally controlled fan. Silverstone rates this fan as having a minimum noise level of 19dBA and a maximum of around 35dBA. We'll see just how well this performs in a bit.
